Pure Gemstones, Sourced from Jaipur

Three stones. Aqeeq is carnelian agate. The Prophet ﷺ wore an aqeeq ring — it served as his seal, and the hadith about it appear in Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud, and others. Scholars across centuries have written about aqeeq's place in a Muslim's life. It is warm to the touch and deepens in colour with years of handling. Sulemani Aqeeq is banded agate, named after Hazrat Suleman (AS). You find it in antique rings and prayer beads from Istanbul to Lucknow — prized for centuries because every stone carries a unique pattern. Every bead carries a different pattern. Moonstone is the one we named the brand after. The moon governs the entire Islamic calendar: every fast, every Eid, every Hajj begins when it is sighted. Moonstone has an inner glow that moves when the light hits it. Translucent, quiet, and named after the same light. All three sourced from Jaipur. Genuine carnelian, moonstone, and banded agate. Each batch independently lab-tested. Certificate of authenticity included.
Fragrance

Separator Beads That Hold Attar

Between each set of counting beads, there is a separator bead made to absorb attar. Rub a drop on your fingertips, press it into the separators. Lasts for days. The warmth of your hand releases the scent as you move through your dhikr. We wanted fragrance woven into the practice itself.

Pure Cotton, Start to Finish
Construction

Pure Cotton, Start to Finish

Pure cotton thread, hand-knotted. Holds knots beautifully and softens with every use. The tassel is cotton too, hand-bound by the same karigar who strings the beads.
Counts

33 Beads or 99 Beads

33 beads for the post-Salah count: SubhanAllah, Alhamdulillah, Allahu Akbar, thirty-three times each. Small enough to wrap around your wrist or keep in a pocket. 99 beads for extended dhikr and the Asma ul-Husna. All three stones come in both sizes.

One Karigar, Start to Finish
Craft

One Karigar, Start to Finish

One person makes each tasbih. Picks the beads, threads them, knots the string, binds the tassel. Small Mumbai workshops, batches of 20 to 40. Every piece is carefully inspected before it earns the Noor-e-Quamar name. This is how Mughal karigari has always worked: slowly, by hand, by someone who knows what they are making.
