The Stone

Carnelian Agate. It is narrated in multiple hadith collections that the Prophet ﷺ wore a ring set with Aqeeq, and this alone gives the stone a place of honour among believers. The great scholar Ibn Qayyim al-Jawziyyah wrote of its virtues, and for over a millennium Islamic tradition has associated it with blessing and protection. Aqeeq is mentioned by name in classical texts as a stone recommended for the faithful to wear and keep close. These beads are quarried in Rajasthan, where families have mined the same seams for generations. Each batch is lab-tested and every bead is hand-inspected before stringing. The warm tones deepen over years of use as the stone responds to the oils of your skin.

The Craft

Each bead is strung on pure cotton thread. Cotton holds its shape over thousands of rotations, gains softness with age, and wears gracefully across years of daily use. The tassel is the same cotton, bound and trimmed by hand.

Fragrance

The separator beads between sections are made from a porous material that absorbs and holds attar. Rub a small drop of oil between your fingertips and press it onto these beads. As your hands warm them during use, the fragrance releases slowly, accompanying your dhikr quietly. The scent fades over days at its own pace. Reapply whenever you wish.
